To prepare adequate professionals to work in the world of tourism and hotel management , with a high level of insertion in the labour market. To develop the capacity to answer to the occasional and structural alterations that characterise the touristic sector of nowadays. To know balanced forms of management of the economical resources, considering the challenges made to this company sector. To provide the hotel industry market with specialised human resources which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of the services offered.  

Professional  activities

The future professional activities correspond to the several working needs in the various departments of the hotel industry, namely in the Direction, Management and Administration Departments. Besides lodging companies, future professional activities may also include: Tour Operators, Central and Regional Departments of Tourism, Sea and Air Transport Companies,Rent-a-car, Management of Touristic Enterprises, projects specialised in the area of the entertainment industry, organisation of events, public and private entities of touristic promotion.

Access Conditions

The access to this course is submitted to the conditions legally imposed for the Higher Studies. Candidates must cumulatively satisfy the following conditions:

  • To have made one of the following national exams:Portuguese,or Economy or Mathematics
  • To have obtained in one of these exams the minimal classification of 95 Points
  • To have obtained in the candidature mark the minimal classification of 95 Points.
